Ball Valve & Filter Ball Valves

Ball Valve

A ball valve is a rotational motion (quarter turn), a quick rotating valve that uses a ball-shaped disk to stop or start or regulate fluid flow. The function of these valves, the ball is the same as of disk in the globe valve. When the valve handle is turned to open the valve, the spherical ball rotates to a position where the hole through the ball is in line with the valve body inlet and outlet of flow. When the valve is shut, the ball is rotated so that the hole is perpendicular to the flow openings of the valve body and the flow is stopped.

Application

Ball Valves are used for flow and pressure control and shut off for corrosive fluids, slurries, normal liquids and gases. They are used in the oil and natural gas industry, but also find a place in many manufacturing sectors, chemical storage, and even residential uses. As the leading Ball Valve Manufacturers, these valves are finding a place in a range of industries today.

Salient Features: -

  • A ball valve is the least expensive of any valve arrangement
  • Ball valve offers low maintenance costs.
  • Ball valves are compact, require no lubrication, and give tight sealing with low torque

Filter ball Valve

The Filter ball is a corrosion-resistant isolating ball valve containing an easily interchangeable strainer. This single valve in a compact space provides both isolation and easily maintainable protection of downstream plants and equipment.

Where strainers are required to be DN15 - DN50, a Filter ball combined quarter-turn isolation valve and strainer should be used. Strainer is mounted within the ball and is accessible for maintenance and cleaning when the valve is isolated. No upstream and downstream isolation valves are required. Manufactured from Hot forged DZR, triple-sealed blow-out proof stem with 2 O-Rings and virgin PTFE packing gland.

Application

Suitable for heating, cooling, potable water and hot water services, compressed air, gas and oil. The Filterball must always be in the fully open position to allow the strainer to operate correctly or fully closed during the strainer removal procedure.
